Meals

Our Alaska fishing packages begin with a hearty dinner upon arrival, where you will meet your guide and go over the upcoming days on the river. In the morning, you'll be treated to a delicious continental breakfast—since hitting the water at 5 am does not give us time for a full service breakfast. Out on the river, we'll provide a nourishing Riverside lunch to keep you ready for action all day long. While continental breakfast and Riverside lunches are provided each day, after the first night's dinner we will gladly refer you to our favorite local establishments to complete your authentic Alaskan experience.

Lodging

Pacific Rim Outfitters is proud to offer lodging in the heart of Alaska's Chugach National Forest. We believe that the key to any wilderness experience is not limited to river miles. When the day is over you should be able to relax and enjoy the accommodations—and recharge your batteries for the next day on the river. We offer two packages that are uniquely charming and of different price ranges:

• The Traveler is a package that is not only affordable, but also breathtakingly beautiful. The riverside property will let you look at the mighty Kenai in all her splendor. The capacity is fairly large, with the ability to lodge groups over 20 comfortably.
• The Five Star package is something to behold. Nestled in 27 acres of beautiful boreal spruce forest, there is not another facility like it in Cooper Landing. Extremely private and as comfortable as it gets, this 3-bedroom home is first class all the way. The master bedroom is on the ground level and affords every amenity. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, as well as a bathroom fully-equipped with a shower and jacuzzi tub. With a full kitchen and laundry facilities, you are completely self-sufficient. Radiant heat and 10-foot picture windows will keep your mind at ease looking at the Dahl sheep and mountain goats on the surrounding crags. Moose and bear occasionally wander through the property as well. This is a one-of-a-kind facility and availability is limited, so book now to assure your dream vacation is complete.

All prices are based on per-person double occupancy. A 2% borough tax is not included. For single person add 50% to the double occupancy rate. Pacific Rim Outfitters operates from June 11 to October 31. October trips will depend on the weather. October cancellations due to mother nature are safety-based, and you will receive a full refund in this case.

Fishing Packages Include

Top quality fishing equipment, waders, terminal tackle/flies, and fish cleaning.

Packages do not include

Fishing license, fish packing or shipping, transportation to and from airport, gratuities to staff.

What to bring

We fish rain or shine. Kenai River fishing can offer a fairly hostile environment at times, so expect the worst and you will be ready. Several layers of warm synthetic or wool clothing beneath your rain gear will ensure comfort. NO COTTON!

You can bring your own fishing rod if so desired. We provide Ross, G. Loomis, St. Croix, and Ambassador for our clients.

Cancellation Policy

If Pacific Rim Outfitters is notified in writing 60 days prior to departure a $75.00 administration fee per person is retained, 30-59 days prior to trip departure 25% of trip cost is retained, 29 or fewer days prior to trip departure 50% of trip cost is retained.

Reservation Confirmation

Reservations will be confirmed with a 50% deposit of the total amount. Credit card, check, or money order will be accepted and upon receipt a confirmation packet will be sent. Full payment is due 30 days prior to trip departure.
